7 Tips | 7 Days To Maximize Your Potential

If you can commit to yourself that you will do all of these for the next 7 days, you’ll be amazed at the results.

1. Drink More Water

Here me out… obviously we all know we need to be drinking more water but did you know that recent studies have found nearly 75% of all Americans are dehydrated?

Being dehydrated significantly reduces your energy levels, and brain functions while also making you physically less effective at basically everything.

What I’ve found that helps me is I just simply get a gallon of water and every hour or so I’ll take down a big massive gulp of this bad boy until the end of the day. If I’m not done, I’ll down it right there.

2. Bruh, you gotta read more

I’m not talking about articles like this one… (but like, please finish :D), I’m talking about something that will stimulate your brain, and get the cylinders firing.

Try to go for a minimum of 10 pages a day, if that’s not enough for you then obviously read to your hearts content — the more the merrier!

One I’m reading right now is David Goggins’ “Can’t Hurt Me”, it’s an amazing story and I highly recommend.

3. Set 3–5 Critical Tasks Daily

A big problem I always have is I’ll try to stack my schedule so much that I’m running around all day like a crazy person trying to get it all done and we’ll.. typically I’ll forget something or just not do it to the best of my abilities.

Every day when you wake up, or before you go to bed — write 3–5 things that you MUST complete before going to bed that night and focus on them.

This is a nice life hack not only because it keeps you focused, we as humans love lists. We love checking boxes, this scratches that itch and ensures you’ll be able to get it done.

4. Get your blood pumping!

Exercise is an amazing life hack. Don’t tell me you don’t have 20–30 minutes a day to go for a walk or hop on the treadmill, throw it on your critical tasks list and get it done!

And the craziest thing about exercise is not only do you feel better about yourself… you also have more energy after and therefore can accomplish the rest of your day better!

Not even counting other benefits like longevity, increased cardiovascular health, and increased overall sexiness.

It’s a no brainer!

5. Prepare your day, the night before

Most people wake up everyday without a plan. They just go through life winging it. I mean hey… I’ve been doing that for most of my life and look at me now… heh… anyways…

If you plan out how you’re going to attack tomorrow you aren’t going to be caught off guard, you’re going to be able to destroy that meeting, or that deadline.

When you’re always trying to go with the flow, sometimes you miss out on some of the other opportunities you could have seen had you planned ahead and had a birds eye view.

6. Grind culture is silly, GO TO SLEEP

I know it sounds counter intuitive to everything the internet has told you over the last few years, but sleep is f**king amazing. If this is the only tip you follow, you’ll gonna be miles ahead of where you are.

I’m not saying wake up late, and I’m not saying sleep 10 hours. But you should really be getting 6–8 hours consistently, and at the same time every night.

This promotes the obvious good stuff like increased energy, higher mental acuity, and being able to work more efficiently.

But it also promotes heart heath and a better immune system. Someone tell Gary Vee to get some rest, please.

7. Take a moment to Breathe

You’re a human being on a floating space rock who was just thrust into this mortal coil with nothing but the meat sack you’re traveling in. Sometimes we just need to take a minute to look around and really look at things.

My personal favorite thing to do is silent, no music, no guided, no nothing — meditation.

I close my eyes and focus on all the sounds I hear around me, really focus on them and remind myself that I’m simply existing in this place and that a lot of the stuff going on in my head is just anxiety caused by whatever is going on at the time — but it will pass.

Some have good success with journaling or writing down affirmations.

Good news is the choice is yours to make because you’re an amazing human being with your own mind and free will 💪🏻.
